Volunteer Program
Mission Statement
The
mission of the Volunteer Program is composed of three areas of focus:
Recruitment
–To
provide a means through which the Park District can accept &
utilize volunteer services from the public.
Education
& Training
– Our training program provides volunteers with the knowledge
& skills to perform & excel at their volunteer tasks.
Growth
or Expansion
– By augmenting the strengths & capabilities of our staff with
trained volunteers we can expand current services & create new
opportunities for Wood County residents.
